Cream Cheese Icing

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 STICK BUTTER
  • 8oz CREAM CHEESE
  • 2 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE
  • 4 CUPS ICING SUGAR

 

Bring the butter and cream cheese up to room temperature.

Cream the butter and cream cheese together until soft and fluffy.  Slowly add the  icing sugar a cup at a time and beat each cup of sugar into the mix until smooth and fluffy.  This will take a few minutes.  Add the vanilla and lemon juice and give one final mix until it resembles frosting.
